Varying pile heights shape light and shadow across the surface, so each rug changes with the light and the angle you see it from. AYA is a limited edition: every piece is numbered and made for you, in your size.

What is Reni Rugs?
Reni Rugs creates statement rugs at the intersection of art and design. Its rugs are designed by co-founder Irena Egelkraut and handmade to order, starting with AYA: a limited, individually numbered collection born from her project Folds Unfolded.
Who designs Reni Rugs?
Irena Egelkraut, designer and co-founder of Reni Rugs. She created the AYA collection as part of her project Folds Unfolded; its Red colourway won Gold at the German Design Award 2027.
When does the Reni Rugs shop open?

Yes. AYA Red won Gold at the German Design Award 2027 in the category Excellent Product Design – Home Textiles and Home Accessories.
What are Reni Rugs made of?
The AYA collection comes in four colourways. Cloud Dancer is made of New Zealand wool with Tencel accents, and Red, Green and Blue are made of pure New Zealand wool. Varying pile heights give each rug a sculptural relief that changes with the light.
Can I order a rug in a custom size?
Yes. Every AYA rug is made to order, so you can pre-order it in any size. Share your room dimensions and the team will advise on proportions, colour and delivery time.
How much does a Reni rug cost?
The price depends on the size you choose and your delivery country. Contact Reni Rugs via WhatsApp, Instagram or email for a personal quote; the team replies within 24 hours.

At Dutch Design Week 2026 — Strijp T+R, Building TT (A10), Eindhoven, 17–25 October 2026, daily 11:00–18:00. You can see and touch the rugs, and pre-order on the spot.
